Ethnic Jokes

In this year I had tons of culture shocks and fatigues working between foreign agents. Just want to stress that all ppl had no intention of confusing me. They had their culture, so did I. So I cannot blame them.

Usually handling English, there were not so much problems occuring between English-Speaking companies.

Yesterday I was talking on the phone with a friend of mine who also did business with overseas. She told me about an ethnic joke book, and we talked about ones including Japanese. For instance, it's a famous one, when two men and one woman were left on the isolated island, if they were Japanese, it was once said that "they fax to Tokyo headquarters what to do". Recently it seems to have changed into "call Tokyo headquarters in mobile what to do".

(BTW I'm not very punctual person in the view of Japanese criteria. Usually don't wear wristwatches and don't own mobile now.)

To get accustomed to the way of many countries, perhaps I will be struggling in the next year. Each time one problem is solved, I'm extremely happy.

P.S. I don't mean _all_Japanese agents are always nice, though they tend to be polite and punctual.
