From 56 years ago, very thorough data on WWII.
I'm not talking about tragedy only Japanese side. Honest American soldiers were hurt to commit such operation. August NHK channel is occupied by sad documentaries in here. Even there were young American soldiers happened to be in Hiroshima at August 6th, and most of them had died because of the A-bomb.
Old Japanese know this lesson, but it's going to be fade away as many are getting over 80 or 90 years old, including my grandparents.
After Septenber 11th, many ppl would be feeling as if whole world has changed. But ordinary ppl can do almost nothing for it. Perhaps that's another fact what Japanese have learned during WWII.
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum(Flash needed)---Look at the paintings("A-bomb drawing by survivors"). The same thing still is still repeated in war places now going on.
